Seligdar says January–June gold output grows by 8% to 2.692 tns

YAKUTSK, Jul 20 (PRIME) -- The gold output of Russian gold producer Seligdar rose by 7.8% on the year to 2.692 tonnes in January–June, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Ore production declined by 18.6% to 5.7 million tonnes. "The decrease was caused by plans of mining works development and does not tell on gold output, since ore from the warehouse reserves formed during accelerated mining of 2020–2022 is put into processing," Seligdar said.

Sand output soared by 114% to 476,000 cubic meters.

Production of tin in concentrate grew by 14% to 1,425 tonnes, of copper by 28% to 569 tonnes, of tungsten by 58% to 57 tonnes.

Gold sales more than doubled to 3.65 tonnes, including 1.322 tonnes bought from third parties and resold. Revenue soared by 65% to 17.7 billion rubles.
